I have a question for everyone in the casino. I am not a scammer and have never defrauded a casino or book. That is not my style and I disagree with it 100%.
With that said, the whole neteller controversy has gotten me in a twirl. I had used neteller to deposit to a book back in the beginning of December. I then put the money into a book and began playing with it. After a few weeks I decided to withdraw it. I got it sent back to my neteller where I thought I could just put it back in my checking account. Well I submitted my withdrawl and have been waiting (just like everyone else). Finally I called back and they told me two weeks. I called back a week later and they said it would be two more weeks. So I attempted to get a debit card so that I could just take the money out at any ATM. So I wait a week thinking that I am goign to get my debit card. I call today and they say that even if I get my card, I won't be able to make a withdrawl using it. Then they say that they have no time table on when I will be able to use it again or get my moeny out of my account. This throroughly pissed me off.
I understand if you actually have a back up of withdrawls waiting. But when you say that you don't know when it will be processed, that to me means that you are just hoping that you don't go bankrupt and get screwed and steal everyone's money.
So I called my bank and told them the situation, they told me that it sounds like I had a solid dispute against the company and that they could retrieve any of the funds that I had submitted within the last 60 days. Unfortunately most were submitted before that 60 day window so i wouldn't be able to dispute them. however, there were a few that were still valid and i only have a few days to make a decision before they expire as well. while the lady at the bank didn't really know neteller or the situation, from what i had explained to her she said she could easily place a dispute for me and retrieve my money right away.
my question is obviously should i do this? i know that the books are not at fault here and no one is really. but my thoughts are that neteller could seriously go broke and just end up stealing everyone's money. they have it stored up in their account and are just holding it for now trying to dodge the question of when they will be able to process it. like i said before, this to me sounds like they are just dodging and trying to not lose face before they screw over their customers.
my other question is, if ultimately they aren't allowed to process any US transactions, and i have disputed them, what can they do? they could send me to a collection agency perhaps... but what would that do? what they did was illegal? I'm obviously losing money if i dispute the transactions back because most are not disputable because of the 60 day time limit. however, i think that this may be my best shot at getting some/if any of my money back. i also do not feel as if i am stealing any money or frauding anyone becuase i have money that i just can't get.
